Ingredients:
Each 5mL contains liquid extracts:
- St. John’s Wort herb top flowering, Hypericum perforatum 625 microlitres, equiv. dry 625mg
- Lemon Balm leaf, Melissa officinalis 750 micro liters, equiv. dry 750mg
- Passion Flower leaf, Passiflora incarnate 625 microlitres, equiv. dry 625mg
- Also contains water, ethanol, glycerol and peppermint essential oil
DOSAGE: Adults: 2-5mL three times daily.
Duration of use:
Ideally used in treatment courses of 6-8 weeks with significant breaks between active treatments. If symptoms persist, talk to your healthcare practitioner.
Directions for use:
Shake the bottle well before use. Can be diluted with water, fruit juice or other fluids if necessary and consumed immediately.
Interactions:
St John’s Wort may affect the way some prescription medicines work. Possible interactions with anti-anxiety medications, seizure medications, antihistamines, bronchodilators, muscle relaxants and/or opiates, anticancer medications, blood thinners, antidepressant medications (e.g. selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI)), anti-HIV agents, cardiovascular medications, immunosuppressant’s, and/or contraceptive medications. Talk to a healthcare practitioner before starting therapy if the patient is taking medications for the stated conditions.
